affecteffect的區(qū)別,你大概已經(jīng)學(xué)習(xí)過許多了。但是,你是否聽說過"affected "和"effected "的區(qū)別呢?

affected”和“effected”的區(qū)別是什么呢?在英語中,這是兩個(gè)非常容易讓人混淆的詞。這兩個(gè)詞語分別適用于什么情況,而它們之間的區(qū)別又是什么呢?

Affected

Affected is the past tense form of the verb affect, which means to have an impact on something. If you have affected some change on a system, it means that you have been able to change the system at least a little bit.

Affected是動(dòng)詞affect(影響)的過去時(shí)態(tài),表示對(duì)某事產(chǎn)生影響。如果你在某個(gè)系統(tǒng)上影響了某些改變,那意味著你至少能夠輕微地更改這個(gè)系統(tǒng)。

Examples:例子:

The election of the new president affected the country’s relationships with many different foreign countries and international organizations.新總統(tǒng)的選舉影響了這個(gè)國家與其他許多國家以及國際組織之間的關(guān)系。

That collapse of the housing market in the United States in 2008 affected the entire global economy and led to a worldwide economic downturn.2008年美國房產(chǎn)市場的崩潰影響了全球的經(jīng)濟(jì),導(dǎo)致了世界范圍的經(jīng)濟(jì)倒退。

The decisions that I made in college have not affected the rest of my life as much as I thought that they would at the time that I made them.我在大學(xué)期間做出的決定并沒有如我做決定之時(shí)所想象的那樣,對(duì)我的余生產(chǎn)生巨大的影響。

Effected

Effected is the past tense form of the verb effect. Effect can be used as a noun, but in the past tense form, it resembles the verb. To effect change means to execute, produce, or bring about change.

Effected是動(dòng)詞effect(產(chǎn)生)的過去時(shí)態(tài)。Effect可以作為一個(gè)名詞使用,但是在它的過去形式之中,它是一個(gè)動(dòng)詞。產(chǎn)生變化,意味著去執(zhí)行,產(chǎn)生或者帶來某些變化。

Using the verb effected instead of affected almost always means that you have changed something, such as a law, judicial ruling, a cultural norm, or something else. If you merely made an impact on something, you should use affected.使用動(dòng)詞effected而不是affected,通常是你已經(jīng)改變了某件事情,比如法律,司法裁決,文化規(guī)范或者其他的東西。如果你只是對(duì)某件事產(chǎn)生了影響,你應(yīng)該使用affected

Examples:例子:

The new emperor effected the changes that he had been talking about his whole life. 這個(gè)新的君主做出了他這一生都在談?wù)摰母淖儭?p>

Contrary to the expectations of most people, the television show that focused on political satire effected significant change in the country"s laws.與大多數(shù)人的期望相反,這檔聚焦政治諷刺的電視節(jié)目影對(duì)國家法律產(chǎn)生了重大的改變。

In the period of a couple months right after a tragedy occurs, government leaders have effected a lot of change because people are emotional and are more willing to take measures to prevent something like that from happening again.悲劇發(fā)生后幾個(gè)月的時(shí)間里,由于人民的情緒激動(dòng),更愿意采取措施來防止類似事件的再次發(fā)生,政府領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人做出了一些改變。

如何選擇affectedeffected的小竅門

If something already exists, it is usually affected, or influenced by something else. If it does not yet exist, like a new system that needs to be put into place, it is usually effected, or implemented.如果某件事情已經(jīng)存在了,通常是用“affected”或者“influenced”表示被影響到。如果尚未存在,比如一個(gè)需要建立的新系統(tǒng),通常使用“effected”或者“implemented”,表示實(shí)現(xiàn)。
