When mentioning the idea of a polluted city. I immediately think of the smog filled Beijing metropolis. Last year, I went on vacation there and got a taste of some major pollution.

The first morning I woke up, I noticed the blanket of smog covering everything around the city. I thought it was still in the middle of the night and I should just go back to sleep. But I looked at my watch and noticed it was after nine in the morning. When I went downstairs to the bus stop，I noticed that everyone around me was wearing a breathing mask and a hat. I also noticed that the air had a strange fou1taste, something like ex-Aired food. I tried to look at the buildings in the near distance, but only could make out their vague silhouettes. I heard that the situation had persisted for some time now and everyone was starting to get a little stir crazy from it.

I went online to look at the updated news reports. They said that the smog was caused by a range of factors such as，automobile exhaust，industrial pollution and dust. The Beijing government had already set forth new laws to tackle the problem. They included.prohibiting fireworks to be set off when there is smog, as well as putting 3，800 natural gas buses on the road. The government had also set aside special rules and regulations for the manufacturing industry that discharged excessive pollution to relocate immediately.

I hope that the Beijing smog issues will be resolved and make the city a more enjoyable place to live in.

我上網(wǎng)查了新的新聞報道，了解到引起霧霾的多種相關(guān)因素，比如汽車尾氣排放、工業(yè)污染和沙塵等。北京政府已經(jīng)新出臺了法律來應(yīng)對霧霾問題.比如遇霧霆天不準(zhǔn)燃放煙花，并增加3,800輛天然氣公交車。北京政府也已經(jīng)制定了特別的規(guī)章制度，責(zé)令排污超標(biāo)的制造業(yè)立即遷出城區(qū)。
